How to Defeat the Elder Guardian
The Elder Guardian guards every ocean monument and slaps you with Mining Fatigue III the second it sees you. Clear the debuff with milk, dodge its charged laser, and burst its 80 HP before it kites back into open water.
The milk-and-burst routine
The whole fight hinges on one loop: the moment Mining Fatigue III landsdrink milkre-equip your sword, and dump damage. The guardian only has 80 HP, so a cleared loadout erases it in seconds. The laser is the only real threat once your attack speed is restored, and that is fully avoidable by breaking line of sight behind a prismarine pillar during its ~3.4s charge. Stay submerged with Respiration and Depth Strider so movement never becomes the problem, and never melee through its extended spikes.
