Beat a Shulker Without Floating Into the Void

Shulkers do not hit hard, they hit up. Every bullet is a homing 4-damage shot plus 10 seconds of Levitation that drags you off the spire. Win by blocking the bullet, drinking milk on the tick, and bursting the 30 HP shell the instant it cracks open.

The levitation rhythm

   Scout the spire before you climb

   Shulkers stick to End City walls and floors disguised as purpur blocks. Pillar up the OUTSIDE edge or bridge across, never under an open shell. Each one has 30 HP and only takes damage while its lid is open.

   Block the bullet, not the shulker

   A shulker bullet is a homing projectile dealing 4 damage plus 10s Levitation. Raise a shield the instant you hear the shot or hold right-click on approach. A blocked bullet does zero and applies no levitation. Bow/crossbow can also shoot the bullet down mid-flight.

   Carry milk and drink on a tick

   If a bullet lands, Levitation lifts you ~0.9 blocks/sec toward the void. Drink a Milk Bucket immediately to clear it, then look DOWN and pearl or land before you drift off the platform. Never fight a shulker over open void without milk.

   Burst it the moment the shell opens

   Shulkers close their shell as armor (damage reduced to almost nothing). Wait for the lid to open, then two-shot it: a Sharpness V Netherite hit lands 9-11, so two clean swings clear 30 HP. Crits while falling stack extra.

   Clear the room, then loot

   Kill every shulker in a chamber before opening loot chests; a single bullet mid-loot can fling you off the tower. Shells drop 50% per kill (Looting boosts it) - the whole point of the raid. Grab the elytra from the end ship last.
