Durations for splash variants are reduced to 75 % of the drinkable version. Add Dragon's Breath to a Splash Potion to create a Lingering Potion that leaves an area-of-effect cloud on the ground. Lingering potion durations are 25 % of the drinkable version.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does Strength affect bow damage?
No. The Strength effect only increases melee attack damage. Bow and crossbow shots are not affected.
Can I extend a Strength II potion?
No. Redstone Dust and Glowstone Dust are mutually exclusive modifiers. Once you enhance a potion to level II, you cannot also extend its duration, and vice versa.
Is Strength useful for mob farms?
Generally not. Mob farms usually kill mobs through fall damage, entity cramming, or other automated methods. Strength is best reserved for manual combat situations.
